As an outdoor recreation professional, Registered Life Planner®, and Certified Professional Coach, Lora Woodward’s mission is to help others reach their goals through the transformative power of the outdoors. She founded Coach Outdoors in June 2018 to challenge individuals and teams to lead and thrive with great purpose and meaning. Clients find that her curious and playful personality allow them to feel comfortable exploring who they want to be and how they want to show up. There is strength in her steadiness as she pushes her clients to uncover their own solutions to the blocks that are holding them back from living into their dreams of freedom.
Lora’s a "Jill-of-all-trades" when it comes to outdoor activities with her favorites being hiking, biking, gardening, and paddling. She’s worked for an outdoor gear retail company, led high-school trail-building crews in National Parks, and for 10 years helped grow Venture Outdoors, a Pittsburgh-based nonprofit focused on getting everyone outside. As the Program Director for Venture Outdoors, she concentrated on developing inclusive programming, strategic initiatives, risk management, and leadership development.
